About the Author & Illustrator:   Deborah Marcero received her BFA in drawing photography from the University of Michigan and her MFA in poetry from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She loves to draw, write, doodle, make silly drawings, and jot down things she notices in the world around her. This is her debut picture book.
